On Sept. 11, 2020, the Swans documentary Where Does a Body End? will be released for home purchase on dvd and blu-ray.

The documentary starts at the beginning -- the early 1980s -- and follows the group through today, notably following the long constant: Michael Gira.

In addition to unseen footage, the documentary includes Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten), Kid Congo Powers (The Cramps / The Gun Club), Jim Sclavunos (The Bad Seeds), Steve Von Till (Neurosis), Martin Bisi and many more.
