There's a lot of music out there and there are a lot of ways to find and enjoy it.
That said, Scene Point Blank was founded by music fans and our main goal is still to share music. Not to act as PR disguised as an influencer.
But enough about us. Today we're excited to bring a new video from Snakeout, a Michigan hardcore band that started as a side project as rose to a bigger project amongst its members.
Check out "Forced to Learn" below, directed by photographer Sam Rottschafer.
The song comes from Un Apologiste, their debut EP that's rooted in hardcore, but with melodic elements and some alt-rock nods buried within.
As the band puts it, "Though they wear their influences on their sleeve, Snakeout still tries to create something new and honest."
Which is kind of what we're all about too.
The song ”Forced to Learn” is all about learning from the mistakes and hardships in life. Anything from addiction to unhealthy relationships to finding yourself stuck in a shitty job. It’s about realizing you can always move on from those mistakes. The video was shot at a local middle school where our guitar player works as the assistant principal and was directed by our bass player Sam Rottschafer.
Preorders are available now. Follow the band on Instagram @snakeoutmi
