The beak is a feature predominantly found in birds but not limited to. A beak could also be located on a turtle or rarely in a band of early fundamental punk rock anthropomorphic specimens. A beak is a functional tool with varying degrees of use depending on the embodiment or representation called into question. Primarily the beak is used for eating audience members alive much aligned with the notion of cannibalization. However, these anthropophagus creatures, before the feast of oral flesh often use their beak to preen themselves so they are cleaned before the act. In turn, when finished partaking in this ritual they often use their beak to clean after the dastardly deed. Parallels can be drawn to small humanoids that often wash their hands after mining for salty, encrusted, nose snacks.
The manipulation of objects is often also used by a beak to shape and form entities into conformation within the confines of their dwelling or space.

Often a beak depending on the size will be used as a weapon ( i must specify at this juncture that size does not matter- however, a larger beak will often produce more damage). I digress, using the Bergerac-sized beak can lead to the untimely death of the naif intoxicated mortal stiff.

Surprisingly the beak can also be used for courtship often after using it as a weapon and a tool of mass destruction. Now in this case size does matter. Often the larger the beak the chances of courtship within the sole confines of this dangling participle are often more successful than those known in Latin as “smallicus nobeackaus”. Once courtship has reached the BINGO stage the beak can then also be used in 9 months as a source to feed their young. A common phrase often heard in the confines of small urban centers is “ no beak no squeak”.

Hailing from Richmond, VA, and from the untimely ashes of Rick and the White Boys. Beex were named ultimately as per a demographic vote on the occasion of their first gig. They were not nosing around when they found the Joisey expatriate firecracker in Christine Gibson.

This release engulfs, engages, and encompasses their first two early singles from 1979 and 1982 combining this with the unreleased tracks. Released on different colored vinyl numerous times and selling out quickly it would be advantageous to obtain your copy before it goes into the vaults of time.

Early punk rock when rules and chains did not confine creative output. There was no true manifest of sound, light, or vision. Individuals' creative input is combined into one entity to make truly unique sonic waves. A must for fans of Jack Sparrow’s buried musical treasures.

The Cure

Songs of a Lost World
Capitol, Fiction, Lost Music, Polydor/Universal (2024)

It's been sixteen years since The Cure released their last album. I don't know if anyone really knew what to expect, but it's one of the most influential bands in history so expectations were high. The Verdict? Those expectations were met. It'd be silly to say Songs of a Lost World is a "return to form" as the band and … Read more

So Far Out
Brassneck Records, It's Alive (2024)

There are few bands that hit with the mix of raw emotion and musical talent as a live City Mouse show. There are even fewer bands that can capture that live feeling on a record. It’s been a long 7 years since Get Right, but So Far Out keeps it moving as if no time has passed. Of course, the … Read more

Future Classic (2024)

Ideally, I would be a bit more interested in art. In visual art- paintings, sketches, MS Paint monstrosities- whatever. I wish I knew more about the meaning of a brush stroke or even had the desire to know more about the meaning of a brush stroke. I spend a lot of time listening to music and, subsequently, I see a … Read more
