At any point in time you may catch me watching television, usually an Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD, Comedy Central, or Cartoon Network. However, lately, I've been watching The Food Network almost nonstop. No, seriously. So with my diligent viewing of shows like 'Food 911!' and 'Inside Dish with Rachael Ray' I've decided to present you with the following recipe.

Title: Grace Gale 'A Few Easy Steps to Secure Heli-Camel Safety' Casserole

Categories: Casseroles, Cheese, Sassy, Shrieked Vocals

Yield: 9 Tracks of 'sassy screamo'

Ingredients:

1 lb of Sassiness via The Blood Brothers or ground turkey (Cook's choice)

8 oz of attempted post-hardcore

1 Onion (chopped)

1/2 Cup of disposable riffage

1 Can of tomato paste

1/2 Cup stupid humor

1 copy of any album from the discography of The Letters Organize (Cook's choice)

A dash of 'dance party massacre' - As noted in track 3 'I Don't Know How to Put This' But I'm Kind of a Big Deal'

1 pkg. Macaroni and Cheese

In large skillet, mix the Sassiness via The Blood Brothers with an attempt at post hardcore, onion and disposable riffage. Stir in the tomato paste with the stupid humor. Cook the macaroni and cheese according to package directions, adding milk, cheese, and the dance party massacre to the mixture. Cook on medium heat for 33 minutes and 49 seconds, or to an album length you desire. Sign to Blackout! Records, mix well, press to compact disc, and serve.

Tune in next week when I show you how to cook up a tough guy hardcore cake!

It's been sixteen years since The Cure released their last album. I don't know if anyone really knew what to expect, but it's one of the most influential bands in history so expectations were high. The Verdict? Those expectations were met. It'd be silly to say Songs of a Lost World is a "return to form" as the band and … Read more

There are few bands that hit with the mix of raw emotion and musical talent as a live City Mouse show. There are even fewer bands that can capture that live feeling on a record. It’s been a long 7 years since Get Right, but So Far Out keeps it moving as if no time has passed. Of course, the … Read more

Ideally, I would be a bit more interested in art. In visual art- paintings, sketches, MS Paint monstrosities- whatever. I wish I knew more about the meaning of a brush stroke or even had the desire to know more about the meaning of a brush stroke. I spend a lot of time listening to music and, subsequently, I see a … Read more
