Won't Stay Dead are back with a few more tracks following on from their album Purgatory released in Oct 2022 https://www.scenepointblank.com/reviews ... purgatory/. This EP entitled 3 Hits From Purgatory contains two previously unreleased tracks from the Purgatory sessions.
"New Descent" and "Nine Guys (No Weapons)" might not have made it onto the album, instead they were destined for bigger things and held back for this release so they could really shine! "New Descent" is a strong first track featuring the great dual vocal aspect of singers Saffron and Violet with a great horrorbilly swagger and accomplished bass driven punk rock interludes. One of their most catchy numbers from Purgatory "You Will Kill Again" makes another appearance which is by no means a bad thing. "Nine Guys (No Weapons)" has a great dark, creeping intro with an infectious chorus. Letting track three run we are treated to a hidden fourth track "The Blood That Sewers Drink", a track which originally saw the light of day on the hugely popular horrorpunk compilation Horrorpunk's Not Dead. This track with it's contagious woah's and oh's showcases Won't Stay Dead as the spooky, fun and upbeat band that they are.
