The 17th annuyal New England Metal & Hardcore Festival will take place April 17-19 at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. Only the dates have been announced at present, with the first wave of bands to be public on Dec. 8. The festival got its start in 1999.

Records: Dolittle 25th anniversary boxset

The Pixies Doolittle has been re-issued as a 3 CD/LP box set yesterday, Dec. 2.  Now 25 years old, the re-issue contains all of the album's B-sides, Peel Sessions and demos from the time, and the original album.   The reunited band released Indie Cindy earlier this year.
