Bands: Coathangers announce new LP, tour with Black Lips

Atlanta's The Coathangers will hrelease their fourth LP, Suck My Shirt, on March 18 via Suicide Squeeze Records. In addition, the band will be opening on a North American tour for the Black Lips. Coathangers last released Larceny & Old Lace in 2011.  

Records: Deluxe edition for Bob Mould's Workbook

Marking the 25th anniversary of Bob Mould's Workbook, Omnivore Recordings will release a 2CD/2LP deluxe edition on Feb. 25. The new edition includes all 11 tracks, plus a number of b-sides and unreleased songs. Mould will tour in early March in support of the release.

Bands: The Unsemble announce debut

Ipecac Recordings will release the debut from The Unsemble on March 3. The band includes members of Tomahawk, Einstürzende Neubauten, and the Silver Jews, forming an instrumental trio. More specifically, the group features Alexander Hacke, Duane Denison, and Brian Kotzur. The record contains 15 tracks, all recorded in Nashville.
