Former bloodsimple And Torche Members Unite In MonstrO

Posted in Bands on April 10, 2010

Former bloodsimple bassist Kyle Sanders has joined forces with ex-bloodsimple drummer Bevan Davies and ex-Torche guitarist Juan Montoya, among others, in a new group dubbed MonstrO. You can find two tracks from the outfit online here.

Meanwhile, Sanders offered the following statement on the group:

“Not going into the whole song and dance about the depressing end of bloodsimple. It drains my soul. I’ve been in a cave since April 2008 but am jumping on this demon pig again. For everyone who supported this band I can’t thank you enough and didn’t wanna come back here until I had something positive to say. Maybe you’ll dig it and maybe you won’t. It aint bloodsimple but its music with amazing people. I grabbed Bevan Davies who was with bs at the end of the road and the badass Juan Montoya from Torche. Found a singer who hails from Ecuador and here you have it. Monstro is the band. Myspace page is myspace.com/monstromonstro and facebook is http://www.facebook.com/pages/MonstrO/110631152284833?ref=ts

There’s 2 songs up with many more coming!

Look forward to reconnecting with anyone and everyone who gives 2 shits!!!
