The Banner Members Start New Project

Posted in Bands on December 2, 2008

The Banner members Joey Southside and Will Putney have announced plans for a new project dubbed Wolve.  Southside commented on the new band:

So as some of you obviously know already i have started a new band. Well its been "started" for awhile now but ive just recently started recording demos. The band is called Wolve and the first record/demo is being written by me and Will Putney (same dudes who wrote Frailty). No The Banner is NOT breaking up, were probably not going to be touring anymore but were not breaking up (well have a new EP out middle of next year). Basically on Frailty there was alot of more melodic and more out there stuff then the previous records and though i think its perfect for the recorf Frailty , its definitely not something i want to do on another TB record. So The Banner will be going back to basics and Wolve will be where all the melody and more progressive shit goes.

The Banner released Fraility earlier this year via Ferret Records.
