Dave Hause recruits help for Blood Harmony

Posted in Records on July 31, 2021

Philadelphia-rooted singer-songwriter Dave Hause has announced a new full-length album to come soon, Blood Harmony.

Hause, primarily a solo musician these days, recorded the album with an array of talented musicians whose resumes include work with The E Street Band, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile, The Highwomen, Carrie Underwood, and more.

The record itself won't released until October 22 (Blood Harmony Records/Soundly Music), but a single called "Sandy Sheets" debuted this week via Rolling Stone. The song reflects on Hause's youth and frequent trips to the New Jersey shore.

Blood Harmony is Hause's fifth solo album. It was recorded in Nashville, TN with producer Will Hoge, whose connections led to the many guest appearances throughout.

Hause also released two cover EPs last year, Patty and Paddy.
