SPB premiere: Foxfires double single video

Posted in Records on October 8, 2021

Today we're excited to share a "double single" video premiere -- "Long Trail b/w Things That Were Lacking" by Massachusetts punks Foxfires. The two singles come in advance of a new EP that is on the horizon, though with an uncertain release date at present.
That's right, this is a two-for-one: two singles in one single video.

Both singles are available on digital platforms today, Oct. 8, following six years without new material, as the band last released Pinetum in 2015 (Escapist Records).

The new singles come courtesy of Glue Man Records, who provided us some insight on why they're leading off with these two songs:

"Long Trail b/w Things That Were Lacking" is, in my opinion, the most quintessential version of Foxfires imaginable. This digital, two-song single and video release will set the bar for all future releases this band brings forward and does so in a way that perfectly marries their punk and hardcore foundations with unique riffs and smart filmography."

"Long Trail" bring rhythmic fire and anger, followed by "Things That Were Lacking," which brings some early '00s vibes.

Oh, and we have another Foxfires feature in the works too. Come back later this month for more.
