2022: Year of the Meat Wave

2022 continues to be a big year for Chicago punk band Meat Wave. The group, with already scheduled tour dates with Metz, The Bronx, and more, has now announced a new album too: Malign Hex.

Malign Hex will release on Oct. 14 via Swami Records. To coincide with the news, the band has shared the single "What Would You Like Me To Do."

While the record itself is new, work began in 2019, with the group deliberating slowing their writing in contrast to its predecessor, The Incessant.

The band's current tour dates are listed below, with more to come. They will also be playing at The Fest 20 in October.
