Zach Barocas has announced a new record to come on August 12, Eight Freedoms. Eight Freedoms is to be the first in an ongoing series called "The New Freedom Sound" and it was recorded with fellow Jawbox bandmate J. Robbins, in addition to a lineup of Gordon Withers, multi-instrumentalist Mark Cisneros (Chain and the Gang, Medications, The Make Up, etc.) and Lenny Young on oboe. The record will release via Arctic Rodeo Recordings worldwide on 2xLP.
